I just wanted to try my hand at something that interests me, so I started reviewing albums that I own. Before reviewing an album, I listen to it all the way through and then write about how I feel, simple as that, I don’t really plan what I say, I just say what occurs to me.
The songs are rated 1 to 5 in my iTunes library, and the average song rating is how I rate each album. Simple as that. My ratings work as follows:
1 star: poor
2 stars: ok
3 stars: good
4 stars: very good
5 stars: amazing
This system is a bit tight I guess, but an average song rating of 3 on an album means that the album is good, and 3.5 means very good. If an album gets over 4, this is exceptional. Below is a list of reviewed albums sorted by artist:
